You and Your Wedding Coverage...

When my 2 of my best friends got married in May 2008, I knew straight away it was going to be a weird and wonderful wedding. The word "weird" describing the character of the groom. I lived with him for 2 years and I survived.

I was one of the Ushers; the day before the wedding we all gathered in a local pub, with most of the Ushers spending majority of the evening around the bar (not because of the beautiful bar maid...or maybe it was). We were all given a sheet of paper with the "job roles" on the wedding day..

Mine said: Dwiko Arie Nugroho - "Unofficial Photographer"

What does it mean? "Well, just take as much pictures as you can on the day then edit them for me, and put it on an album as a wedding present" said the groom - job done!

I like to thank Tim Clark (The Official Photograher) for letting me shoot alongside him on the day, because in this competitive industry of wedding photography usually there's a line in the contract which states "Only bla bla bla will be the only professional photographer present at this wedding" but Tim wasn't bothered at all with me being there, as long as I don't get in his way...plus I am not a professional yet, I am an "enthusiast"

Well I was lucky enough to get a mention in You and Your Wedding Magazine's website in their REAL WEDDING section. Not bad at all for my first English wedding shoot (unofficially). There's still a long road ahead of me but this is part of the fun...

Special thanks to the Bride and Groom Mr David and Mrs Erica Oliver...
